Well, it’s not going to happen and that was more than half of my motivation. Seriously. It’s probably just the weather but I feel like just curling up in a ball and crying.

I need to find music for my musical freestyle. I don’t go to VA until July but I need to have a solid freestyle soon and actually ride it at a show and get feedback and make changes so I don’t look like a derp at champs.

On course during a lesson: Meticulously perfect every little thing over your jumps, paying much attention to things that your trainer corrects, working hard to memorize it for the show ring.
On course during a show: Wait.....what? Aw, fuck it. Time to get instinctual. Winging it!

Driving pony!
As soon as I get Silly pony up here, which won’t be until about three weeks, I’ll start getting him in shape under saddle again. I’m also officially in the market for a horse cart. I have some time because I’ll have to start ground driving Silver but he’s going into Combined Driving training.

I’m completely covered head to toe in horse poop and mud right now. We were feeding hay to the horses in the pastures and got stuck in the mud/horse shit on the manure track. I had to push the gator while Mk drove and when we finally got it out, I was ripped from my paddock boots (next time, I probably shouldn’t be lazy and zip them up).. so now my boots are soaked in liquid shit.
